shipping and returns

in a nutshell

 1. delivery fees

        switzerland

  • delivery of your order to a domestic address within Switzerland is free.

  • the average delivery time within Switzerland is 4-5 days. 

  • we will contact you personally via e-mail after the every order is placed to follow-up on the order, confirm the delivery date and do everything in our control that the delivery is smooth.

 

        europe

  • currently, for a limited time only, we offer also free shipping for your order for countries in the European Union. 

  • the average delivery time for Europe is 5-7 days.

        rest of the world

  • currently, for a limited time only, we offer also free shipping for your order for countries in the rest of the world. 

  • the average delivery time shipping is between 14-21 days, but it can also be faster.

  • we will contact you personally via e-mail after the every order is placed to follow-up on the order, confirm the delivery date and do everything in our control that the delivery is smooth.

  2. vat & customs fees

  • for online purchases within Switzerland, 7.7% vat is included in the price as seen online. There are no customs fees. 

  • for online purchases to countries within the European Union (EU), the final invoice amount does not include any vat or customs fees. Customs is paid by the buyer directly to the shipping company. 

  • for deliveries to countries outside the EU, the invoice amount does not include VAT. The correct net amount is specified during the order process and in the order confirmation. Specific taxes and import duties for delivery to a non-EU country must be declared and paid to the relevant authorities of the importing country by the purchaser of the goods. 

 3. returns

  •  pink maharani shawls are 100% handmade and do come with slight variations, which add to the unique character of      the products.​

  • the woven borders, edges (if applicable) and total size might vary up to +/-5cm. 

  • no returns or refunds are possible at any given time except: if there is a hole or a tear in the product of the size of one euro cent coin or larger. If this defect is given before the client opened the product, the pink maharani team will evaluate the situation and the following principles apply: 

    • the buyer must inform pink maharani via email, writing to info@pinkmaharani.com within 10 days of receiving the products in case of any described damages or exchange.

    • a full refund (excl. shipping and transaction fees) is offered if pink maharani is unable to replace the order.

    • in case of exchanging or return due to un-foreseen damages, we ask the client for 2-3 weeks (single colored) and 4-6 weeks (multi-coloured/ woven and embroidered products) as replacement time. The products from the embroidery or kani jamawar collection are one off pieces and therefore no exact replacement is possible. The buyer will be given a choice of Kani Jamawars to choose from instead.

    • while returning the order in case of damage, the product must be packed in the original packaging (this applies only if the damage has been informed to pink maharani within 10 days from receiving the package), otherwise the original shipping container or similar damage-resistant packaging should be used to prevent further damage to the original product packaging. All parts of the product must be included. The package can be sent back to us from any post office location using the following address:

 4. shipment loss

  • In case of damage or loss or any other questions regarding the goods in delivery, the clients are requested to contact the courier service directly with the given tracking number. The goods are usually insured by the same courier company.

  • pink maharani is not responsible for the package after the goods have left the company premises in Geneva, Switzerland.

  • However, in case of this situation arising, we will do our very best to resolve the issue and get your desired product to you.
